An uncharacteristically error prone inning by RM allowed Sherwood to score 7 runs and blow open a close game in the 6th inning. The game was a tense affair through most of the afternoon. Holly Shan faced down a formidable Sherwood lineup. Jisue Gonzales, Shan and Sophia Pirozzi all had key hits for the Rockets. Pirozzi knocked in the only run with a ringing single up the middle.
